In Season 2, Episode 2 of 'Outlander' we see Claire Fraser out on the town in Paris, France on her way to the apothecary shop in a 'Dior' Bar-Suit style long skirt and peplum top with black raffia hat and black pump shoes.
We've done a previous post on this outfit with items in a more formal and dressy style like Claire's original gown which can be seen HERE. But this post will focus on a more casual everyday style that can be worn anytime.
Below are ideas for an ivory white peplum top in both short and long sleeves, or sleeveless. Some are pullover, others have a button front or wrap style, and one even has a jacket style full-zip front.
The skirts featured below are a long maxi floor-length, ankle, or midi with full skirts in soft fabrics such as cotton-linen, chiffon and silky poly-stretch. You can also add an A-line petticoat slip to fill out the skirts even more if desired.
With all the right accessories - black straw hat, round ivory handbag, ivory gloves, black shoes, and topaz tear-drop earrings - you can feel like Claire out on the town in your own unique Dior-style ensemble.
