In Season 2, Episode 2 of 'Outlander' Claire Fraser wears a strikingly beautiful 'Dior' Bar Suit style gown ensemble while in 18th century France.
She wears this two-piece dress on one of her first days out on the town while she and Jamie are living in Paris.
For Claire's complete entire ensemble, please click our post HERE.
Ironically (or maybe very fittingly) the Dior Bar Suit style was first presented by clothing designer Christian Dior in 1947 - Claire's own original time period.
Claire accessorizes her 'Dior' gown with a pair of light yellow gemstone teardrop dangle earrings. Her lovely drop earrings feature a topaz pear shaped faceted gem in a setting surrounded by smaller stones.
The rest of her costume includes a long sleeve ivory jacket topper, blue-grey satin skirt , ivory gloves, drawstring pouch handbag, straw raffia hat, and black leather retro pump style shoes.
The earrings shown below feature options from 14K gold plate to Sterling Silver with genuine and created gemstones from Topaz and CZ to Swarovski Crystal in fish-hook earwire, post, and lever back.
