In Season 2, Episode 2 of 'Outlander' Claire Fraser stands ready for her evening at Versailles Palace while her husband Jamie looks on.
In this scene, Claire is standing on the stairway of the luxury townhouse where she and Jamie are staying while living in Paris, France.
The red gown she is wearing was designed by Madame Tabanou, dressmaker to Claire's friend Louise de Rohan, with input from Claire herself who, 'helped design this dress'.
Claire's complete ball gown ensemble also includes a pair of ruby and diamond teardrop dangle drop earrings, a folding hand fan, and beautiful strappy satin rhinestone buckle 'shootie' pump shoes with closed toe and sculpted heel.
The gown itself has full floor-length skirts and fitted bodice with low-cut split neck front and lace-up back. The dress also features long 3/4 length slit cuff sleeves and wide pannier bustle slip petticoat.
