In this post, we're revisiting Claire's Wedding Dress from Season 1, Episode 7 of 'Outlander'.
In The Wedding episode, we see Claire Beauchamp Randall wed to James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser.
On the day of her marriage, Claire wears a beautiful gown of silver grey and ivory with rich embroidery and fabrics such as tulle, organza, crinoline and taffeta. See HERE for her ring.
The selections below feature many of these same authentic elements such as the rich satin and tulle fabrics with applique embroidery as well as off-shoulder styling and lace-up corset back.
These vintage-style gowns are reminiscent of the one that Claire wore from the 18th century. They display similar items such as wide full-length skirts, puffed sleeves, and tonal fabric insets.
Areplica gown of this period is also available in rich silver-grey taffeta with a lace-up corset back, puffed sleeves, and ivory lace insets at the bodice and wide full-length skirt.
