In Season 2, Episode 2 of 'Outlander' Claire Fraser disembarks from a carriage in Paris on her way to find the Apothecary Shoppe to get a sleep remedy for Jamie.
On this outing, she wears a Dior Bar Suit style ensemble with an Ivory Satin Topper, Slate Blue-Grey Satin Skirt, and Black Leather Shoes. Other accessories include a satin pouch drawstring purse for a handbag and yellow teardrop dangle earrings.
As she exits from her coach, we also see that Claire is wearing a full white slip petticoat beneath her skirt as well as white stockings and, although in a slightly awkward stance, we're also able to see both a front and side view of her footwear. (It's probably not so easy to jump out of a carriage onto an uneven brick paved surface though!)
Claire's 18th century style black smooth leather 'shootie-bootie' pumps feature a high throat (tongue) at the vamp, sculpted heel, closed pointed toe, closed back with monk strap buckle, and open side cut-outs in a t-strap Mary Jane style.
The selection below showcases several types of shoes that reflect the style and period look of Claire's heeled pumps. Just click on a photo to see a larger image, and to find out how to get a pair of these vintage style shoes:
