In Season 2 of 'Outlander' Claire Fraser meets a very special character while in France, Master Raymond the Apothicaire. In Episode 2, Claire visits his Apothecary Shoppe in search of a sleep aid for her husband Jamie.
Maitre Raymond's Paris shop is full of many curiosities, and his vest is just as colorful being covered with various mysterious embroidered images peculiar to his trade.
The vests shown below also contain lots of colorful embroidery reminiscent of Master Raymond's overcoat vest. The first is a long sleeveless tan linen vest that can be sewn with embroidered patches of one's choice.
Others include genuine and faux suede, polyester, sherpa, and boiled wool. Many are in a neutral color, ready for some colorful sew-on or iron-on applique patches, and a long sleeve linen shirt to wear underneath.
