CLAIRE'S BLUE & BEIGE SUIT II
In Season 2, Episode 6 of 'Outlander' Claire wears a dress ensemble with a sky blue peplum hem jacket top and a light beige full length satin skirt.
During this time, she and Jamie are living in Paris, France and are expecting their first child. This accommodating, comfortable gown ensemble serves as a sort of 'maternity' dress for Claire.
On a previous post we showcased this dressy French outfit with slightly more formal options for the blue peplum top or jacket and beige satin skirt and dainty disc earrings.
This time, just for fun, we've focused on some more casual 'everyday' clothing items that still have the style of Claire's dress ensemble but with soft lightweight materials such as cotton, linen, poly stretch, and chiffon.
Below are several clothing item ideas to put together an outfit similar to Claire's costume such as light sky blue Buttoned V-Neck and Low Vee peplum tops, and long flowing skirts in tan, beige and khaki.
You can add an A-line petticoat slip to fill out the skirts if desired. Also shown are a few pairs of dainty disc and vintage style drop earrings with a small turquoise mint stone like the ones that Claire wears with this outfit.
