OUTDOOR MEET & GREET: WHAT TO (& NOT TO) WEAR
This early evening Meet & Greet event was in late summer on an outdoor patio of a resort located at the front range of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
The two ladies' outfits featured here represent a contrast in style and appropriateness, or lack thereof, for the occasion.
FIRST OUTFIT:
In the photo above the subject at the left is nicely dressed for the occasion in an effortless but stylish ensemble of a metallic ring sleeveless black top and cropped white dress pants.
Accessories are kept to a minimum with small half-hoop earrings and clear lucite sandals. This shoe is a good choice for the warm August weather.
SECOND OUTFIT:
The second lady at the right in the above photo is wearing a paisley print dress with elbow length sleeves and an odd hem line that is halfway up the thigh with side panels that reach to the knee.
The shoes are short black booties with metallic studs at the ankles and she appears to be holding a jacket that has large biker style red-white-&-blue patches.
This outfit as a whole seems mismatched with shoes and a jacket that are too heavy for the warmer weather as well as being to casual for the occasion. Meanwhile, the dress is too busy and 'fancy' for the setting and incongruous with the rest of the outfit.
