In the previous Blog Post I mentioned that the first shampoo I tried (from MM's 'no-poo' method) was the Earth Essence.
Since I had seen on the Morrocco Method website that it contained Patchouli oil, I wanted to try this one first. |

I was somewhat surprised by the color (but not unpleasantly) which was a light brown due to the clay it contains.
The texture was nice, and the smell was divine. But, it does take a little getting used to the fact that there's no lather.
It's a change from what you're used to, but it's a change for the better! ...Makes your scalp feel so clean and pure.
It also made my hair smell really nice. I was now very anxious to see how my hair would look once it air-dried.
I was so amazed to see how soft, full, manageable, and truly 'clean' it felt.
I have long but very fine hair that usually doesn't have very much volume.
My hair now looked like it did when I had a 'body wave' in the past (but without the harmful chemicals!)
I was very pleased, to say the least.
