The 6-Feet Square Manduka Pro Mat Recently I was looking for an exercise mat that I could use in the house to do stretching exercises.
I wanted something that would give me good coverage on the floor even when laying full length and/or with arms outstretched.

The Manduka PRO looks like a really great mat, and I may save up for it. If you can afford it, it's a really great investment in your home fitness.
However, at 360.00, I decided to keep searching for another option. I found three others in my price range that were the size I had in mind (see below).
One is 6-Feet Square just like the Manduka PRO Square, but at a fraction of the price. Another is 7ft. x 3ft. at a similar price.
Since it will be used on top of a rug, the one I opted for was the YogaRat 100% Microfiber SportLite Beach Blanket.
This is the Official Towel of the Los Angeles County Lifeguard Association. I figure if it's good enough for them... :)
This towel measures 76 x 64 inches (6.3ft. x 5.3ft.). It's easy to store and lightweight enough to carry wherever needed.
Also doubles as a beach/picnic/poolside blanket or play mat for toddlers, and is easily machine-washable.
