Carnation Breakfast Bars from the '70's:
Why, oh why did they stop making these?! They were SO good -
All that dense yummy, chocolatey, crunchy, peanut-y, vitamin-y goodness --
so perfect with a nice, cold glass of milk.
As the box said, " One bar with a glass of milk makes a complete meal." Well, it was certainly filling and satisfying, anyway.
Gone, except for our memories... Or are they?
Carnation has just come out with some new Breakfast Bars in both Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chocolate!
Some other brands I've found that are close are the Peanut Butter Chocolate flavors in the Special-K brand and the PowerBar Crunch.
