The quote below from the bio of a natural health practitioner offered an interesting clue (from the bio of a lady that does natural ‘hair healing’ – sounds pretty 'odd' enough already!)
“When I was seventeen, I started to practice yoga and meditation. After my first lesson I noticed a different kind of Sun starting to shine in my universe and it never disappeared.”
Deception: "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." (2 Corinthians 11:14)
The quote is especially 'enlightening' as she hadn’t been talking about the sun before saying this. Notice also that it began right from the first lesson - no such thing as 'innocent dabbling' with these types of practices.
This 'different sun' started to 'shine' in her own universe, and it NEVER DISAPPEARED! Once invited in, it will NEVER leave - not without great effort on your part before God:
Jesus warns us that, "...This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." (Matthew 17:21) We can pray as Jeremiah did in Daniel 9:3-18:
"I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting...And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession. We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly...For thy great mercies. O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive." - Amen
It is said that practices such as yoga can open the door to demonic presence. In fact, the basic goal of the Hindu religion is to allow the 'entering in' of other entities with the ultimate goal of complete union with them. (Yikes!)
Definitely a ‘different kind of sun’ - a different Jesus, not the ‘Sun of Righteousness’ (Malachi 4:2). but the son of perdition! (2Thess 2:3) Just makes you realize all the more who - or what - some of the modern churches may actually be worshiping.
"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." (Galatians 1:8)
Many 'false messiahs' are also seen in Hollywood movies that portray a 'savior son' – such as Thor, Percy Jackson, and so on – but it’s 'the wrong son of the wrong god' - it's 'another Jesus' as the Bible speaks of:
"For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." (be deceived by him.) 2 Corinthians 11:4
Though yoga has become very popular and mainstream, there are many alternatives for just 'stretching exercise' if you so choose:
