Taming the 'Frizzies' -
Hairspray & Hair Gel -
I live in a somewhat humid climate, and my hair tends to 'frizz' out and become very tangled if I don't use proper care and the right products.
Some that have helped me to 'tame' the frizzies are Natural B5 Design Hair Gel and Natural Missst Herbal Hairspray from Aubrey Organics.
More recently, I have also discovered these three all-natural styling products from Morrocco Method: Styling Gel, Pomade, and Curl Power.
Hair Brushes -
Another great 'taming' tool is a metal steel-pin hair brush. These make it easier to get the brush through your hair. Fuch's makes several great wood handle brushes in a wide oval or slimmer rectangle.
For something more traditional, try a Natural Boar Bristle Brush or Scalp Massager to gently stimulate the scalp to promote hair growth and overall scalp health.
Shampoo & Conditioner -
For Shampoo and Conditioner, one of my favorite brands is Giovanni. I especially like their Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo and Invigorating Conditioner.
These have no chemical fragrance, just a nice fresh scent. For less of a 'tingle', try Giovanni Golden Wheat Deep Cleanse Shampoo.
To cleanse and condition the hair while also exfoliating the scalp, try Your Crown & Glory Natural Shampoo & Peppermint Conditioner.
No-Poo Shampoo -
Another healthy option for your hair are the low- or no-suds shampoos. These gently clean the hair and scalp without any 'sudsing'.
All-Natural Hair Color -
Light Mountain and Morrocco Method both have a great line of henna-based organic, all natural hair-color in a variety of different shades.
They also have products that Color the Gray to help cover grey, or to aid in growing out color or highlights to blend back in with your natural haircolor.
All-Natural Highlights -
Another way to color or highlight your hair naturally is with Hair Mascara. This is a fun and temporary way to try out different colors in your hair, with much less toxic effects than a long visit to your local salon.
You can also cover grays with this Light Blonde Henna which turns gray hair into a lovely, sun-streaked blonde! This is a great option for people tired of chemical highlights.
One more way to try out hilights is with Clip-In Highlites (see below). These are the least 'toxic' hi-lites of all, and are easy to clip in or remove at a moment's notice. Available in many different shades and lengths.
Hair Clips -
The 'LinziClip' (see below) is the best hairclip I've found to hold all your hair up, day or night, without any pins.
Available in Mini, Midi, and Large (Maxi). The nice smooth surface of this clip shows no hinge and gives you a clean, finished look.
