This is how it felt to me, anyway when my back went out. It's as though there's no longer any support in that area.
I went from being able to pick up decent sized weights, to not even being able to pick up my shampoo bottle.
I definitely learned how important the 'core' is to your overall strength. My arms still had the same strength they always had, but I was unable to lift anything due to the support from the lower back being out.
It truly feels as if 'nothing' is there except for a blank space. But, fortunately with time, strengthening, and proper rest the area does eventually heal and 'reappear' again. Listed below are some of the items that helped me get 'back in shape'.
